Reserve Syrah 2021

Okanagan

Deep aromas of ripe black plums and currants leap from the glass, complemented by enticing notes of violets and vanilla. The palate is rich and full-bodied, layered with intense fruit flavors, balanced by smooth, polished tannins that lead to a bold, lingering finish. Perfectly enjoyable now or worthy of cellaring to experience its evolution.

Vintage Notes

This vintage began with a warm spring, setting the stage for one of the hottest growing seasons on record in the Okanagan Valley. April, May, and June were warm and dry, and this trend persisted through the summer. The hot, dry conditions reduced yields, resulting in fruit with exceptional concentration. As the season drew to a close, September remained warm and dry, making precise harvest timing essential to preserve the fruit's freshness and delicacy.
