Reserve Chardonnay 2022

Golden Mile Bench

Bright stone fruit and tropical aromas open up, accompanied by crisp apple, Bartlett pear, and a hint of spice. This Reserve Chardonnay, crafted from hand-harvested and whole-cluster pressed grapes, was aged in French oak for 14 months before a final period in stainless steel to preserve freshness. The palate brings lively acidity and layered minerality, leading to a long, satisfying close.

Vintage Notes

The 2022 vintage began with a brisk, damp spring, heralding one of the Okanagan Valley’s coolest years in two decades. Summer followed with typical temperatures and rainfall. This combination led to an exceptionally late harvest, a rare event for the region. The resulting fruit boasted heightened acidity and vibrant, fresh flavours.
